Link To A World Of Wonder And Intrigue

The ages of Myst are worlds of adventure and awe; of mystery and beauty; of intrigue and betrayal. You have seen a glimpse of the picture, and know the history of Catherine and Atrus. Now, take a step further into the legend of Myst.

This AudioBook is your link to the story of Ti'ana -- known among humans as Anna -- the first woman from the outside world to enter the domain of the D'ni. She wanders into a place she never should have seen, and her intelligence and wisdom surprise some, and terrify others. When one young lord befriends her, then marries her, all layers of D'ni society are shaken -- but no one realizes just how deeply.

The Book of Ti'ana is a tale of friend versus friend; of virtue against evil; and of trust and betrayal. It is a story that many do not want told. For you will hear the unimaginable come to pass, and only one is left to carry on the legacy.

Myst: The Book of Atrus, by Robyn and Rand Miller, is also available from Random House AudioBooks.

Read by John Beach. Eric Conger, Earl Hammond, Janice Hoffmann, Timothy Jerome. John Littlefield, and Chris Phillips.

About the Author:

Rand Miller--who along with his brother Robyn discovered and brought to life the secrets of D'ni empire in the megahit CD-ROM world MYST and the novel Myst: The Book of Atrus--rather enjoys his simple life . . . one that now includes a garage at his home in the Pacific Northwest. And when he has the time, he carefully practices his form and technique at his self-designed 14-hole, Certified Cross Country, Off-Road disc-golf course. On rare occasions he invites only the best of friends or employees over for a weekend disc-golf slaughtering.

David Wingrove is the author of the Chung Kuo series of novels, which includes The Middle Kingdom, The Broken Wheel, The White Mountain, The Stone Within, and Beneath the Tree of Heaven. He also co-authored, with Brian Aldiss, Trillion Year Spree: The History of Science, a volume which won the prestigious Hugo and Locus Awards for best non-fiction work in the science fiction genre. He lives in North London with his wife and three daughters.

From Publishers Weekly:

Rand Miller revisits the surreal world of MYST with MYST: The Book of Ti'Ana, the second in a series of fantasy novels inhabiting that space. The CD-ROM that accompanied MYST: The Book of Atrus (created with his brother, Robyn) sold close to 2,000,000 copies. This second MYST book, which was created with David Wingrove, will also coincide with the release of a CD-ROM adventure.
