Leonard Everett Fisher is the talented author and illustrator of many books for children. Among his prestigious awards and honors, Mr. Fisher has received a Pulitzer scholarship for his paintings, a Regina Medal from the Catholic Library Association, and a Kerlan Award from the University of Minnesota. In 1995 he was selected as the May Hill Arbuthnot lecturer of the American Library Association.

Mr. Fisher grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and now resides in Westport, Connecticut.
