If you haven't heard, the whole animal kingdom is roaring its approval for "Let's Have A Bite!", this collection of delectable rhymes about animals naughty and nice. With thirty-three delicious poems by Robert Forbes and zany illustrations of each featured creature (look out for a secret critter peeping out from each page) by a master cartoonist Ronald Searle, these wildly playful rhymes and charmingly intricate illustrations will keep readers seven to seventy coming back again and again. Naughty lion cubs, chocolate bunnies, monkeys, idle pandas, a buffalo named Biff, lemurs, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and even an inchworm named Sprint feature in this timeless collection.

L'autore:
'He spends a lot of time looking out the window,' read one of Robert Forbes' 7th grade report cards. Even so, he managed to graduate from school and university, and joined the family business in 1975 where he now serves as a company Vice President as well as President of the lifestyle magazine, 'ForbesLife'. After 25 years in New York and six in London, he and his wife currently reside in Florida. He enjoys his work, writing poetry, and still cherishes time spent looking out windows. His first book of poetry for children, 'Beastly Feasts! - A Mischievous Menagerie in Rhyme', was also illustrated by Ronald Searle. Ronald Searle was born in Cambridge in 1920. He served in the Second World War and was one of the few British prisoners-of-war to survive Changi prison and forced labor on the Burma Railway. He delighted millions with his comic creation St. Trinians, and has been a distinguished contributor to numerous magazines around the world, from The New Yorker to Le Monde.
