This is a concluding unit for Key Stage 3. It is designed to help teachers bring Key Stage 3 to a satisfying and coherent close. Part 1 considers the relevance of history by investigating how far historical precedents can help guide the modern world in dealing with terrorism. In Part 2 pupils test their history skills as they investigate punishments through time. This also provides an opportunity for a dynamic end of Key Stage summative assessment Part 3 reviews the whole of Key Stage 3 - pupils consider the significance of the 'great' events, 'great' inventions, and 'great' people they have studied over the past three years.
