L'autore:

Roy H. Whitecross gained a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney in 1952 and was soon afterwards appointed to serve as Private Secretary to the Hon.W.M.Gollan, MLA. From 1963 he began working at the University of Sydney, retiring in 1978. He has also been President of the Headquarters of the 8th Division Association since its inception in 1946, keeping the surviving members of his original unit and their families in touch.
