Neben Mario und seinen Freunden gibt es einen weiteren Star im Videospiele-Aufgebot von Nintendo: The Legend of Zelda mit seinem Helden Link. Seit nun mehr über einem Vierteiljahrhundert steht die Reihe für Abenteuer, Action und ein faszinierendes Spieluniversum. Auch bei TLOZ ist es die Musik, die einen Großteil der Atmosphäre ausmacht. Und so können sich Zelda-Fans nun über eine Sammlung der schönsten Melodien aus nahezu allen bislang erschienenen Teilen der Reihe freuen. Mit dabei sind The Legend of Zelda , Zelda II: The Adventure of Link , The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past , The Legend of Zelda: Link s Awakening , The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time , The Legend of Zelda: Majora s Mask , The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker , The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures , The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess , The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass und The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks . Damit finden sich hier fast alle Spiele wieder. Lediglich fünf Spiele wurden nicht aufgenommen, was in Anbetracht der Fülle an Stücken jedoch kein Verlust ist. Die Notensätze sind zwar nicht direkt für den absoluten Einsteiger geeignet. Doch mit einiger Übung können sie schnell erlernt werden. Alle Songs sind mit Tempoangaben versehen und hervorragend (und vor allem sauber!) ausnotiert. Auf Bilder wurde weitgehend verzichtet, was ich persönlich recht schade finde. Ocarina of Time liegt zudem als doppelte Version, einmal als normale Ausgabe und einmal als Piano Mini-Score vor. Fazit: The Legend of Zelda Series ist für Zelda-Fans genau das Richtige. Der bunte Querschnitt aus den Zelda-Spielen bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und ist mit einiger Übung auch gut zu spielen. Schade, dass Bilder hier Mangelware sind.
