A lifelong World War II aviation enthusiast, David Dannegger has been an avid amateur wartime aviation historian since the late 1980 s. Over the years, he s had the privilege of speaking to countless wartime veterans and becoming the custodian of their oral histories. Gotcha stems from a longtime desire to both tell their unique stories, as well as to try putting himself in their shoes. Though entirely fictional, extensive research has gone into this novel to ensure that the locations, events, and wartime mindsets and mannerisms translate into a vivid, historically accurate story.
