Refreshing and insightful, rich with humour and brimming with life, this is the story of Nina Shepard, dog walker extraordinaire. With the keys to many strangers' apartments, Nina has the access, the freedom, and the choice to cross a moral boundary, and several foyers, and enter into other people's lives. And so she falls in love with Daniel, a man she has never met but whom she thinks she knows from snooping in his apartment when she picks up his dog for walks. But both Nina and Daniel are imposters, pretending to be what they are not. By the time they learn who the other really is, after mishaps and mistaken identities, deception and lost dogs, it's too late. They've learned too much about themselves and will never be the same again.

From the Inside Flap:

"A clever, fresh slant on infatuation and love...made even better by lots and lots of dogs." -- Lauren Weisberger, author of The Devil Wears Prada

"Laugh-out-loud funny, poignant, and brilliantly observed. Schnur is a true original. Some day, readers of other authors will say, 'It's good, but it's no Schnur!'" -- Al Franken, author of Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them

"A warm-hearted, big-city fairytale about the things that matter most: dogs, friends, music, and falling in love." -- Jennifer Weiner, author of Good in Bed and In Her Shoes

"What a delightful, witty, warm, wise, funny, and stylish debut! Leslie Schnur's The Dog Walker is a winner." -- Harlan Coben, author of No Second Chance

"Imagine Julia Roberts in the movie walking eleven dogs on leashes (it could happen), and learn all about her love life. The book is a trip; it's breezy, it's wacky." -- Elmore Leonard, author of Mr. Paradise
