This book is a treat for intellectuals and activists who are interested in questions related to religious and civic equality in the modern world. It is a closely argued work on the attack of Multiculturalism in Western Europe but as Modood points out, these nation–states seem to actually practice multiculturalism while they present themselves in terms of muscular liberalism .
