This is an excellent resource compiling information from many newer, sophisticated methodologies, while emphasizing the critical importance of cytomorphology in the diagnosis of hematologic disease.

This beautifully produced book sets new standards in the literature of blood cell morphology, and the photomicrographs are among the best I have come across. The authors, translator and publisher are to be congratulated on producing what I consider to be the definitive guide to the morphology of the haematological malignancies. It should be in every laboratory involved in the diagnosis of these disorders. It will appeal equally to medical and scientific staff. At £95 it is not cheap but is good value and individual workers may wish to have their own copy. Highly recommended.
