Clyde Walcott has been a key figure in world cricket for over half a century. A top-class West Indian batsman and wicketkeeper from 1941 to 1964, he was famously known as one of the `three Ws' (along with Everton Weekes and Frank Worrell). In the seventies he was manager of the controversial fast-bowling West Indies Test side which included the likes of Andy Roberts and Michael Holding. He is now chairman of the International Cricket Committee.
Entertaining, irreverent and genial, Walcott is controversial on the game and its players. His historical scope, anecdotes and humour will delight cricket lovers all over the world.
