Award-winning Joseph Wambaugh was born in Pittsburgh and served as an officer in the LA Police Department for fourteen years. More recent books include THE BLOODING, THE GLITTER DOME, FLOATERS and HOLLYWOOD STATION. He lives in Southern California.
