L'autore:
Dr. Magdi Khair is an institute Engineer in the Department of Emissions Research at Southwest Research Institute. He is experienced in the areas of engine testing and exhaust emissions control. Dr. Khair holds 13 U.S. patents on electronic fuel injection, turbocharging, exhaust gas recirculation, and aftertreatment systems. He also has authored and co-authored numerous papers for SAE international and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Federico Millo is an Associate Professor at the Dipartimento di Energetica, Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He received his master's degree in mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 1989. His research activity has focused mainly on the analysis of the combustion process in internal combustion engines and of pollutant formation and control in diesel engines. He has published more than 50 articles, most of which are in the proceedings of international congresses and in international journals, and he has been responsible for several research projects with major European automotive companies.
