Crisis strikes all of us at some time in our lives. We might think we are prepared to respond when people we care about need our help, but so often in the moment we are paralyzed by the fear of saying or doing the wrong thing - so we do nothing. There are several things you can do that will let your loved one know you care.
The authors experienced crises in their own lives and received very different responses from friends and acquaintances. This prompted them to interview others who had life-altering experiences, and the result is this compilation of stories in which you will discover simple and effective ways to lend a hand.
