L'autore:
Yann Arthus-Betrand's many books include the multimillion-copy international bestseller Earth From Above. Born in Paris in 1947, at the age of 30 Arthus-Bertrand moved to Kenya, where he lived on a wildlife reserve. For three years, he followed a pride of lions, an effort that resulted in his first book, Lions. He then returned to France and became an aerial photographer. His photographs have been featured in National Geographic, Life, GEO and Paris-Match, among other magazines. He is the chairman of GoodPlanet.org, a nonprofit association for the promotion of sustainable development.
