Jacqueline Tobin is the Deputy Editor of Photo District News magazine, where she has worked since 1986. Over the years she has written profiles and features on hundreds of photographers in the industry, including such legends as Gordon Parks, Arnold Newman, Harry Benson, Elliott Erwitt, Bruce Davidson, Mary Ellen Mark, Joyce Tenneson, George Tice and Robert Adams, among many others. She has also written articles forBritish Journal of Photography, Black & White Photography in Sussex, England, andAmerican Artist, Drawing and Watercolor magazines in New York. For the past five years, she been a judge on PDN's 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch, where she has helped select the next biggest and brightest stars in the industry. This is her first book.
