Valuable advice is given on assessing a rider's limitations and how they affect the horse, and buying a suitable mount. A stable companion of "ABC of Breaking and Schooling Horses", this common-sense approach top all equine problems will save the average horse owner much time and heartache and will result in horses and ponies that are well-balanced and happy. The book is complemented by the author's own photographs and profuse, clear-line illustrations by Ejnar Newcome-Baker. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition.
