Book and wrapper are generally virtually as new BUT sadly there is one spot of adhesion on page 10 (about 5mm) which has left a mark. Also again on pages 70/71 which has left a few small blemishes - pictures still useable but not a collectors copy but perfectly usable. This mint unread copy is bound in cloth covered boards with bright gilt titling to the spine, tight, white, bright and square. The unclipped dust wrapper is in fine condition. This copy is in mint unmarked condition in a mint unclipped dust wrapper. Introduced in 1973, publishers D. Bradford Barton, Truro, Cornwall produced many pictorial books of rail interest, each hardback book was almost square in shape (21cms wide by 22cms tall) and eventually covered virtually every aspect for the rail enthusiast. Over one hundred and fifty different titles were produced in this square format, all are very uniform in appearance and size and were lavishly illustrated with black and white photographs from private collections, many published here for the first time in book form.
