NANCY K. NAPIER, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at Boise State University, worked for several years at Battelle Memorial Institute in contract research for Nissan, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, and Nippon Steel. She has taught and done research in the areas of strategic and human resource management, international management, and mergers and acquisition implementation. Her most recent research has been done in Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Vietnam.
SULLY TAYLOR is an Assistant Professor of International Management at the School of Business Administration, Portland State University, and has taught in Spain and Japan. She has conducted cross-cultural training for NEC, Fujitsu, DEC, Aldus, and others. Her specialty is international human resource management and Japanese management.
