First edition, hardcover in quarter leather with pictorial cloth sides, all edges silvered, and housed in a lidded box, it is signed by Bowie and Rock, and marked as no. 545/2500 on the limitation page. The book has a very minor skew to the binding, a touch of wear to the cover corners, and some faint rubbing to the cloth, and overall, is a solid, bright and crisp, Very Good+ copy in a like box, which has light wear to the cloth at the corners, and some rubbing with a few small, faint smudges to the panels. Deluxe Edition, number 233 of 350 copies bound in full leather, with additional photographic print, from a total run of 2500 copies. Folio (38 x 28cm), pp.346. Printed on fourteen different paper stocks, including clear acetate, trace leaves and a variety of coloured and textured papers, printed in colour throughout, housed in a presentation box. The binding is full pale blue leather blocked in gilt. The design on the cloth-covered box is a faithful recreation of the fabric pattern Bowie wore on the cover of the Ziggy Stardust LP. Lid has a blue leather label titled in gold and silver. A superb production, signed by both artists. 'As new' example, complete with original mailing carton (light postal wear). A collaboration between David Bowie and photographer Mick Rock. Published to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Ziggy Stardust LP's original release. Signatur des Verfassers.
