Pixie is perplexed and delighted by many aspects of her experience in elementary school. This novel touches upon the ethical concepts of: sibling-rivalry, personhood, respect for others, friendship, secrets, promise-keeping, parent-child relationships, obedience, teasing, and autonomy.
