These pages contain the record of two years out of the life of a young Canadian volunteer in two wars some sixty years ago. In 1916 he went to England and four in WWI and was wounded. Upon recovery he joined the RFC, The Royal Flying Corps and upon commissioning 2LT Shrive, an artillery brigade, and infantry regiments were being sent to Russia to participate in the Russian Civil War. He was in Russia until 1919 as an aerial observer. This book contains his diary entries for the 1917-19 period of his flying career. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
