I first heard about Bob Goulding's unique healing processes in 1972 and unknowingly began this project. A chronologically divided writing composed of personal experiences, interviews, family records, workshop notes, personal tapes, celebrations, media materials and letters. My first trip to the Western Institute for Group and Family Therapy was in June of 1977, and I used this workshop as a springboard to change my life. During the following years, I attended many more of these family gatherings and learned much about Bob and Mary, their families and the Redecision Therapy process. This book is a grouping of short stories about a powerfully nurturing male - his methods, skills and techniques - his idiosyncrasies, humanity, humor and his love of people. About how he taught and used a process within a positive context, while using loving content to teach people how to be more fully human - to be more loving, nuturing and less judgmental and to get on with living. About how he used arrogance in a fun and enjoyable manner - "I am the best psychotherapist." And some about his denial that certain habits would have no effect on his health. --- excerpt from book's Preface
