"Two Faint Lines in the Violet" is Lissa Kiernan’s first poetry collection. Her individual poems have been widely published and nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. Kiernan holds an MFA in Poetry from Stonecoast at the University of Southern Maine, and an MA in Media Studies from The New School. She founded and directs The Rooster Moans Poetry Cooperative, a provider of online poetry workshops. She currently makes her home in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband Chris, and a fluctuating number of felines.
