Dull, Fryup, Nobottle, Keith, Catsgore, Indian Queens, Upperthong, Dufftown, Twatt ... these aren’t just nonsense words but real signposts along the highways and byways of Britain. And here they are: brilliantly photographed and collected in a witty, almost surreal book of images by acclaimed young photographer/cinematographer Dominic Greyer.

Descrizione del libro:
What would you call a book of 140 beautiful photos of Britain's oddest place names?
L'autore:
Dominic Greyer's fascination with strange place names began with his first ever family holiday, to a tiny village, named Boot, in Cumbria. Later, while touring Denmark, he posed for a photograph in front of a road sign to the town of Middelfart. It left an enduring impression. A decade and a half later Dominic Greyer again hit the road, this time as a fully fledged photographer intent on creating a series of photos of Britain's oddest place names. The result is quirky, beautiful, quintessentially British, and very Far from Dull.
