Mr. Burbank is the founder of Parker-Nelson Publishing and president of Lighthouse Financial, LLC, a firm founded to specialize in providing business valuations of private and family businesses for Business Brokers and Intermediaries. In December of 2002 Ted sold The Burbank Group, Business Intermediaries, a firm he established in 1979, where he gained experience valuing and selling more than 2,000 companies. Revenues of the companies served ranged from $100,000 to $50,000,000. A pioneer in the practice of business valuations and sales, Ted is recognized nationally as an authority on the subjects. He is a contributing author of “Handbook of Business Valuations” and “Mergers and Acquisitions Handbook for Small and Midsize Companies”, both published by John Wiley & Sons. He has written seven books and five software programs on the subjects of buying, selling and financing a private business. Ted has conducted training seminars and addressed trade groups on business transfer and valuation issues in the United States, Canada and abroad and has authored numerous articles on subjects addressing business transfers and valuations.
