Yasmin Shiraz began her writing career as the Publisher and Editor in Chief of Mad Rhythms magazine. Her six year tenure of that college entertainment publication lead her to interviewing elite celebrities such as Sean “P.Diddy” Combs, Jay-Z, and Martin Lawrence among others. She then moved into motivational speaking and established herself as one of the preeminent young adult non-fiction authors and mentors of our time with her critically acclaimed work The Blueprint for My Girls: How to Build a Life Full of Courage, Determination and Self-Love (A Fireside Original/Simon & Schuster.) Her “Blueprint” work has been developed into empowerment seminars, character education programs and rites of passage programs for girls. She currently runs her own marketing and brand management firm, The Signals Agency.
