This short poem, written in 1914 by beloved American poet Robert Frost, is a humorous ode to a headstrong Holstein who crashes through a stone wall into the apple orchard of a New England farm. Four of his volumes of poetry, Collected Poems, A Further Range, New Hampshire, and A Witness Tree were awarded the Pulitzer Prize. A designer, director, and animator in TV, film, and electronic media, he also illustrates children's books and designs characters for corporate clients. He lives in Westchester County, New York.
