A collector and dealer of Western Americana, Bruce Bartlett has been specializing in Texas-style bits and spurs since 1989. He and his wife, Julianne, own Rio Grande Trading Co., dealers in antiques of the American West. Located in San Antonio, the company specializes in spurs forged in the Texas Style and crafted from 1900 to 1940 during the spur's Golden Era. The company offers a range of rare, high-quality, investment-grade merchandise including bits, saddles, boots, chaps and antique firearms.

Bruce serves on the board of the National Bit, Spur and Saddle Collectors Association, the Advisory Board of the National Ranching Heritage Center and the Witte Museum board in San Antonio. He is a member of the Texas Gun Collectors Association, the Antique Bowie Knife Association and the Alamo Arms Collectors Association. He facilitated the move of the famous Buckhorn Hall of Horns collection to its current location in downtown San Antonio.

Bruce is a graduate of Baylor University and considered by many to be one of the most knowledgeable dealers in early Texas spurs. Bruce, Julianne and their son, Winn, reside in San Antonio, Texas.

A graduate of Baylor University, he serves on the boards of the National Bit, Spur and Saddle Collectors Association, the National Ranching Heritage Center, and the Witte Museum.
