Prior to his career in healthcare, Dr. Patrick Swift studied to become a Jesuit priest and completed the Ignatian 30-day silent retreat. He currently lives in the New York City area with his family and works as the clinical neuropsychologist for the brain injury unit at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases.

Dr. Patrick Swift was a witness to the World Trade Center attacks on September 11th and gave assistance to some of the victims. He is a passionate advocate for interfaith dialogue and religious tolerance. Swift holds a faculty appointment at NYU Medical Center where he works as a psychologist. Prior to his career in healthcare, Swift studied to become a Jesuit priest and completed the Ignatian 30-day silent retreat. He has studied Eastern Philosophy and meditation, and completed a pilgrimage to India on a 75-day trip around the world.
