Cashmere Cries

9780978970208: Cashmere Cries

Cashmere Nixon is a beautiful Christian woman who catered to her husband's every desire while he repeatedly disrespected her. Adding insult to injury, Donovan, her husband of nine years, banished her from their bed, forcing Cashmere to live the last six years of their marriage in celibacy. Tired of being abused and demeaned, Cashmere files for divorce and seeks to live a life of happiness on her own. But the hole in her heart won't last for long. Not if Marcus Davenport has anything to say about it. A devout Christian man, Marcus enters Cashmere's life with a divine message from heaven and a determination to win her love at all costs. In doing so, he also discovers information about his childhood that may change his life forever. Olivia has fought a lifelong battle with obesity but has the voice of an angel and a heart of pure gold. In the midst of a casual afternoon shopping spree, Olivia is placed in the right place at the right time, just as God planned. What happens next will alter the course of her future. Happily married, Richmond Miccoli wants to research his family lineage before conceiving a child with his wife, Melanie. During his investigation, he discovers information regarding his past that brings heartache and pain into his otherwise peaceful and happy world. It is through Cashmere's cries and the tears of her closest friends that they find that all things really do work together for good to them that love God.

About the Author:

Born on November 9th in Gainesville, Georgia, Carmita Daniels is a fun-loving girl at heart who warms any atmosphere with her silly sense of humor and comical laugh. In 1992, she graduated from East Hall High School - home of the Vikings. The following year, she attended Gainesville College to pursue a career in nursing and in 2002, she studied Cosmetology at Lanier Technical College. As neither career choice fullfilled Carmita's dream, she decided to test the waters in communications and customer relations. Finally, after having enough of working 9 to 5, she boldly took a leap of faith, quit her job and began to write. In December 2005, she began the journey of Cashmere Cries, her first Christian romance novel. Being motivated by several events and chapters in her life, Carmita found that her greatest inspiration came from within; an idea that becomes a dream that becomes reality. She is a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia where Reverend Rodney Lackey Sr. is pastor. Believing that God has a divine purpose for her life, she contributes her wisdom to her parents. In her free time, Carmita entertains herself by reading mystery and romance novels, watching HGTV, roaming the clearance aisles at Target and braiding hair. She also enjoys vacationing in the Caribbean annually and is currently working on her second novel, Joy - Something to Treasure. Carmita is the only daughter of Cinderella Osborn-Hale and the late Arthur Osborn. Currently, she resides in Braselton, Georgia with her husband Marcello and their daughters Chatela and Erin. Carmita's long term goal is to become a successful playright and script writer for movies. Her favorite motto: Dream BIG.
