L'autore:
Lawrence Solomon, a world renowned environmentalist author and activist has been at the forefront of movements to stop nuclear power expansion and to save the world's rainforests. He is a columnist with National Post (Toronto) and has been a columnist for the Globe and Mail (Toronto), a syndicated columnist, and a contributor to the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Solomon's model for electricity reform was adopted in Great Britain, leading to the demise of nuclear and coal power in that country, and has since become the dominant model for electricity-sector restructuring in the world. His 1996 energy-saving model for satellite toll roads has been adopted throughout the European Union. Mr. Solomon's Energy Probe Research Foundation promotes conservation and renewable energy, opposes coal, nuclear power, and large-scale hydro dams, and works with citizen groups around the world to stop environmentally destructive projects and promote sound development.
