In this, the sequel to Agnes Pflumm and the Stonecreek Science Fair, teacher Agnes Pflumm decides to embark on a lesson in pond water microbiology, using samples of water from the school pond. Her students, however, have a far grander idea. The foul smelling school pond is just the first clue that something is terribly wrong with the water in Stonecreek! Like the other Agnes Pflumm books, this one has an in depth apppendix for students, teachers and homeschooling parents, guiding them through lessons designed to address the national standards for science education.
