Each two page spread featuring the bull acting out resolves as you turn the page and see the boy acting as a boy should.

She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband Dan, and her two children, Jonna and Jeremiah. When she isn't writing, she loves being with her family, especially her first grandbaby. You're a Boy, Not a Bull was inspired by her son and his propensity to curl up his fists and snort when he was angry. Darlene would tell him, "You're a Boy, Not a Bull."
