The novel Penny Savannah: A Tale of Civil War Georgia is the sequel to Savannah Grey: A Tale of Antebellum Georgia, published in 2007. His non-fiction book, The Slave-Trader’s Letter-Book: Charles Lamar, the Wanderer, and Other Secrets of the African Slave Trade will soon be published by the University of Georgia Press. Mr. Jordan has published articles in the Georgia Historical Quarterly and the Journal of Military History.
