Proboscis well developed; palpi upturned, reaching vertex of head; antenna with the medial part of shaft dilated, bipectinate, with moderate branches dilated at extremity; tibiae with the spurs moderate; build stout; abdomen with short lateral tufts on last four segments. Fore wing with vein 3 from near angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle or shortly stalked; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9, 10 stalked. Hind wing with the cell normal; veins 2 and 4 stalked or from cell; 3 from 2 just before margin or absent; 6, 7 from upper angle. Sect. I. (Fregella). Hind wing with veins 2 and 4 on a long stalk. A.
