A page of the Codex Argenteus appears in the Outlook, November 6, 1897, as photographed from the original volume in the Library of the University of Upsala, Sweden. This ancient relic was obtained by Mr. W. S. Harwood of the "Minneapolis Journal" for the Outlook Company. Through the courtesy of these gentlemen, this page is reproduced in this paper and used as a medium for the elucidation of its hidden meaning.
