Excerpt from Luther's Small Catechism: With Prooftexts, Additions and Appendices

In the edition of the Catechism, the attempt is made to combine some of the most desirable features of the editions that have preceded it. The plan is to give the standard text of Luther's Catechism, with such proof-texts as will illustrate each distinct thought.
