Saint-Marcel (Edme Cabin), peintre et amateur d'estairipes, 1819-1890, a laissé un œuvre de graveur fort peu connu, où se trouvent pourtant quatre vues prises dans la forêt de Fontainebleau qui sont des eaux-fortes très remarquables. M. Loys Delteil, après beaucoup de recherches, vient de décrire vingt-et-une eaux-fortes et une lithographie de Saint-Marcel (dont il a gravé le portrait). Nous suivons ici son catalogue.
