Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book establishes a structured framework for understanding the history and principles of grammar in the English language. The author begins with a historical analysis of the evolution of the English language and its grammatical structure over time. Building upon this foundation, the author subsequently uses examples to identify and describe the eight parts of speechâ"nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. The author goes on to examine the ways in which these parts of speech interact to create phrases and sentences, before concluding with a more in-depth examination of the nuances of the English language's grammatical system, such as the use of articles and the formation of tenses. By situating the English language within a historical framework, the author of this book illuminates many of the traditional challenges in English grammar, offering readers a clearer understanding of its intricacies and structure.
