Excerpt from In the Twinkling of an Eye
So much for the letter. The moral of it lies on the surface. There are some persons who seem unable to see anything from the side of real, actual life - that Ladies' committee could not - whose vision is narrowed down to the tiny slit of their own cramped, cabined life and thought, they have no true outlook upon life, as a whole.
I preface this foreward with the above incident, because I am perfectly certain that the standpoint from which I have written this book will be utterly, absolutely misunderstood by many earnest, loving-hearted people, whose eyes, with my own, have caught the upward gaze from whence we look for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book is an exploration of the idea of the imminent return of Christ, combined with an in-depth discussion of the role that Jewish culture and history play in the lead up to this event. The author draws connections between the events of the first coming of Christ and prophecy about His second coming, while providing unique perspectives on significant events within Jewish history through the lens of that prophecy. Through this approach, the author offers a fresh way to explore the intersection of faith, history, and current events. Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
