Recensione:

'This book could not have come at a more appropriate time the global financial crisis will be solved by the coming together of teams and leadership. The added assertion that leadership can be achieved through the Socratic philosophy of self-development, gives us all hope that new leaders will come forward to create the teamwork that will build a better world.' - David Pumphrey, Partner, Heidrick& Struggles, Sydney, Australia

'The authors of this timely and powerful book have done it again! This book is one of the most important books in the field of leadership over the last decade, drawn from years of experience of working with top teams in business and organisations more generally. All leaders should red it, it is a must.' - Professor Cary L. Cooper, Distinguished Professor of Organizational Psychology and Health, Lancaster University Management School, UK

'A practical and rigorous framework for understanding the development of leadership teams.' - Dr Robert Galavan, Head of the School of Business and Law& Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, National University of Ireland Maynooth, Ireland

'This is the best presentation of a non-linear understanding and innovative approach to Leadership teams for companies facing the Global Financial Crisis. The review of the "born to lead" school versus "self development" school is the best I have read.' -Professor Emeritus L Murray Gillin, AM Director, Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia

'In a world where 'strong' leaders seem to achieve so little the professor Kakabadses show how the effective leader must embrace the full complexity of the role and the needs of others to achieve lasting success.' - Charles Rose, Chairman, Hainsford Energy Limited, UK

"Professor Kakabadse provides an elegant guide for leaders, and followers, who wish to engage others in their objectives" - Rosalind Gilmore, Former Director, Zurich Financial Services AG and Director, the Leadership Foundation Inc. Washington DC.

'Leadership Teams captures the breathtaking effects of the driving force of a team.' -Vadim Makhov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Severstal, Russia.

'This book is a practical and insightful guide to modern team leadership.' Peter Steane - Emeritus Professor, Macquarie University, Australia

'As we struggle with unprecedented environmental problems at the same time as economic uncertainty, effective leadership and team work has never been so critically important' - Juliet Roper, Professor of Management Communication, University of Waikato and Associate Dean, Sustainability, University of Waikato Management, New Zealand

'A well written text combining intellectual insight with practical common sense' - Dr Ian Brooks, Dean, Northampton Business School, UK
