This second volume has all the scholarly virtues of itspredecessor. It is imbued with massive learning. The exegeses areaccurate. The essays usefully distinguish the different threads inWittgenstein s discussion; they explicate the mostsignificant of the relevant concepts, and they explain thephilosophical importance of the issues involved.
