"I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then." The sequel to Lewis Carroll's beloved ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND sees Alice return to the fantastical world where chaos is king (or should that be queen?). The White Rabbit, Caterpillar, Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts all make their own contribution to Alice's second - and possibly most important - journey: her journey into womanhood. Touching on themes of loneliness, growing up and the fleeting nature of life, ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS is essential reading for every young person.

L'autore:
Lewis Carroll was born 'Charles Lutwidge Dodgson' in Cheshire in 1832 and died in Surrey in 1898. His most famous novel, ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND, was rumoured to have been inspired by Alice Liddell, the youngest child of Dodgson's close friends Henry and Lorina. It was on a rowing trip with the Liddell family that Dodgson first spoke of the story that would eventually become his greatest commercial success, and there are many superficial links to Alice Liddell in the book. However, he later denied that "his" Alice was based on any real child.
