She is currently from Spencer, Indiana... She was born on the south side of Indianapolis the youngest of 4 children. She grew up in Indiana. Later she moved to Illinois in 1979. She married and has 2 daughters. Her desire for writing was developed at an early age. She wrote about everything... With the tenacity and determination of a bulldog, she researched this book about the family... Road trips and wonderful walks thru the Cemeteries were a weekly pleasure... Conversations with many of the living relatives proved to be fun and informative... She always seemed to have the tape recorder running... After 6 years of research this labor of love developed into a heart felt passion. Thru this journey Deb Mansfield has become very proud of her ancestors and her heritage...
