Marilyn Williamson is a retired English professor. She travels, teaches, and takes classes to stay out of mischief. She has published six books and lots of articles about Shakespeare and women's writing for grown-ups, but this is her first children's book. She lives on a lake in Michigan, where she enjoys boating in the evening with Jim and Brittany McKay and Girl Williamson. About the Artist Samantha Dodge, the illustrator, was born and raised in the great lakes state of Michigan.She is an up and coming illustrator who received her degree from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI.
