John Eargle is considered the foremost expert in the audio engineering field, having authored numerous books and produced hundreds of recordings over his forty-plus-year career. He has degrees in music from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Michigan. He won a Grammy in 2001 for Best Classical Engineering. He is presently Senior Director of Product Development and Application for JBL Professional. He lives in Los Angeles. JBL US headquarters is located in Northridge, California near Los Angeles.
