Misty Blue is the proud Christian wife and mother of two grown children, one step daughter and one grandson. She is an exceptionally compassionate individual who rescues last chance dogs and is now retired from a career in the United States Marine Corps and Federal Civil Service. She attended Louisiana Tech University while a member in the Louisiana National Guard and the Marine Corps Reserves. She won the Louisiana State Shorthand Rally at age 17 and the USMC body building achievement award by age 19. She has served in the Missouri Army National Guard and ran an Army Reserve unit. She was a ground breaker for many women into these services. Her heart belongs to the state of Louisiana even though her career has taken her all over the United States to live.
