Henry, a middle-aged psychology professor, is in the midst of an unpleasant stage in his life. As he privately struggles with his own insecurities, Henry embarks on an unpredictable journey to find healthy attachments. As Henry struggles to find a way to satisfy his own unmet attachment needs, he tries to ignore his own compulsion to seek out relationships that do not provide the deep, emotional connection he so desperately craves. But Henry is about to discover that his past actions may come back to haunt him in ways he never imagined.
