Jamal - Is just someone in the passing. Jamal is from Atlanta. Denise meets Jamal one day while taking out the trash. Jamal is cool, calm and collective. He is handsome and sexy. Denise likes his style. They begin dating and a brief relationship forms. When Denise gets laid off from her downtown Atlanta job, she turns to Jamal for support only to realize Jamal offers no support. During Denise's financial crunch, she realizes that Jamal is lazy, lied about working, have no dreams or goals for himself. In fact, the only dreams and goals Jamal have is to live off of each and every woman he meets. This book is filled with joys, sorrows and pain endured from three different relationships, including mental abuse that started in the early years.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources management. She lives in the Dallas area with her daughter, Sheneé Nicole and her granddaughter, Asia Mikenly. When worshiping, she visits Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
